For a first-time author, Ron Clark offered the reader a very good story. I really appreciated this fiction story written from a Christian perspective. The reader can tell this author was a pharmacist, one that had to be detailed in his job, was able to offer the reader detailed descriptions of the Texas landscape, for instance, and going into battle against the enemy. Nice job.

I was quite impressed with this book. The Biblical background, the characters, the setting, the intrigue, the solid foundation for this adventure fiction – all laid the groundwork for a jolly good read! Some of the ‘current events’ of the book are strikingly similar to what’s going on in our world today and, frankly, a bit disturbing. A well thought out plot, engaging and carrying the reader along with its development.

ISRAEL’S TREASURE by Ron Clark is a Christian story about a man that goes on a journey with his friend to figure out the prophet’s secret. I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and it kept my attention from page one to the end. This book really has a place in the world today. I would recommend that anyone that loves Christian fiction read this book. It gives you a newfound belief in Christian morals and the way the world is portrayed today.
The plot was well thought out and it had you on the edge of your seat. It made you wonder what they were going to have to face this time. I really enjoyed the part about them finding the Ark of the Covenant. It was very realistic and true to scripture. I like the way that Ron Clark puts faith first in this book. It shows that Josh is a man that is not afraid of where his beliefs may take him. His family was endangered due to the journey he took, but in the end, it was good that he won this battle. I really thought it was endearing how there was scripture throughout the story.
The characters were well developed and their stories were thought out. I could tell that Ron Clark has a passion for writing about Josh’s story. It shows that his character meant something to him. The way that Josh gets angry and feels his emotions are very realistic and he was a very believable character for this story. I loved all the conflict that arose in this book, because it is true to life, especially the life of a true Christian person.
I would recommend anyone who loves a good book to read this story. It gives you a sense of relief when things go his way or you really start to connect with Josh when things don’t go his way. This book was one of the best Christian novels that I’ve read in a long time. I hope the author continues to write books like this. Ron Clark has a talent for writing a great story and getting the reader involved.
